Meet the pack’s Head Instructor

With over 30 years of martial arts experience, Professor Don Stoner is the heart of Lone Wolf Jiu Jitsu Academy. A second-degree Black Belt under Rigan Machado and Fabiano Scherner, Don began his martial arts journey at age 6 and went on to become one of the top-ranked teen competitors in the U.S. Known for his technical skill, calm leadership, and passion for community, Don has earned numerous titles — including 7 Submission Underground championships and multiple NAGA and IBJJF podium finishes.

Now living in Washougal with his wife Andrea, Don focuses on teaching martial arts as a vehicle for confidence, discipline, and personal growth.

In 2022, he launched the Apex Teen Project to support youth who have experienced bullying, using Jiu Jitsu to build resilience and self-worth.

Don’t let the small town feel fool you, Lone Wolf Jujitsu is world class. I have trained at many gyms; Extreme Couture in Vegas, Lavin Jujitsu in the Bay and Valente Brothers Jujitsu out of Puerto Rico and was a wrestler and a wrestling couch for Sierra Vista High School. The training here is outstanding. Both my kids and my wife train here as well. Professor Don is a proven competitor who earned his Jujitsu Black belt from Rigan Machado. We are blessed he decided to move here and open up the studio.
