Meet Mama Wolf

Robyn, affectionately known as “Mama Wolf,” is the glue that holds Lone Wolf together. Since 2023, she’s balanced front-desk operations, student support, parent communication, and even the occasional baby-on-her-shoulder multitasking — earning her nickname from both kids and adults alike.

Known for her warmth, humor, and no-nonsense reminders like “Guys, knock it off,” Robyn helps every student feel welcome, especially kids who walk in nervous or unsure. Her go-to advice: “Everyone starts at the bottom — the important part is that you showed up.”

Favorite Part of the Job: “Watching kids build confidence week after week. That’s what it’s all about.”

Don’t let the small town feel fool you, Lone Wolf Jujitsu is world class. I have trained at many gyms; Extreme Couture in Vegas, Lavin Jujitsu in the Bay and Valente Brothers Jujitsu out of Puerto Rico and was a wrestler and a wrestling couch for Sierra Vista High School. The training here is outstanding. Both my kids and my wife train here as well. Professor Don is a proven competitor who earned his Jujitsu Black belt from Rigan Machado. We are blessed he decided to move here and open up the studio.
